Su Ferrera is no stranger to Live TV! She was a Host on HSN for many years, the “it” girl in Informercials appearing with the legendary Billy Mays in Kaboom and is currently a regularly scheduled guest on HSN. She represents many kitchen products but when asked, she says:
“On of my favorite products to demonstrate is the BBQ Pit because: It really is one of the most convenient items to use and one the I constantly use. I’m way too busy these days to cook a good meal and I also am on a higher protein diet so this is the perfect solution! I put a roast , chicken or turkey in, turn it on and when I come home from work, viola’! I can cook for an army, which I do alot, (teenagers) and this does the job! The meat is the most tender and it makes me look good!”
The funniest thing to ever happen to me on-air is: ”So many funny things in 20 some years of live tv….Maybe the day Alice Cleveland thought I had a tumor on my leg. I had leggings on and a pair of panty hose were stuck inside from the dryer. I didn’t notice, but Alice and I were co-hosting together and she got a strange look on her face, pointed down and almost started crying. When I realized what she was pointing to, I pulled them out and couldn’t stop laughing. Yes, the whole thing was caught live on camera”.
Another moment: Getting the giggles and not being able to recover on air.
