On of my favorite products to demonstrate is: “the Command Performance Triple Burner because since it’s for entertaining, it always feels like we’re having a party on set”.
The funniest thing to ever happen to me on-air is: “I started a fire on my very first airing. The host and I got to talking and I turned on the burner … it didn’t seem like we were talking long, but when I added oil to the pan it instantly set aflame. I improvised and said we might do a banana’s foster flambe, the crew cut-to a still shot and put the fire out. That incident had me sweating in more ways than one!”
One of the most interesting and/or famous people I’ve ever worked with is: “I just returned from a trip to Vancouver where I had dinner and shared stories and recipes with Kath from Edible BC. We were having izakaya, which is a Japanese style tapas, when Ozzy Osborne sat down at the table right next to us (literally, 5 feet) and ordered us a round of drinks. It was an interesting tea and lychee liquor that I’ve never tried. So far for 2011, it was my most jaw-dropping dining-with-the-stars moment”.
